I can’t think of a better cocktail in the fall than this Apple Cider Moscato Sangria! It is such a beautiful drink to serve to your guests and so simple to make. It has red moscato, apple cider and seasonal fruits including; apples, cranberries and black cherries. I am such a fan of the sweetness of moscato wine and it blends so harmoniously with apple cider and fruit. You can easily make this cocktail with a dry red wine if you prefer your drink a little less sweet.
I love how this drink is so versatile. You can always add your own favorite seasonal fruits and it will still be delicious! It is also great for those who aren’t big alcohol drinkers. The alcohol flavor is so subtle and you get your own little mini fruit salad!
We had another great Saturated Saturday last weekend. My parents and in-laws really enjoyed this cocktail along with a cup of my Slow Cooker Broccoli Apple Cheddar Soup. I am really in the mood for fall this year! It is really the best weather here in the Midwest. No more yucky humidity! Do you ever get tired of your summer wardrobe and look forward to wearing a nice, cozy sweater? That is definitely my state of mind right now. My daughters have really been enjoying the beautiful weather outside and have been busy playing in their adorable little playhouse. I think they would live outside if they could!
HA…my husband really ended up looking like quite the Romeo when I sent him to the grocery store to buy wine and flowers for the pictures. He said that several people asked him what the special occasion was. No anniversary or birthday here…just good drinks and decorations!

Hello! I’m so glad it was a hit!
Hi! I’m curious what type of red moscato you used or would recommend? I typically drink normal moscato, but I love the fruity flavor moscato brings and I read that some red moscatos could end up closer to dry. Any recommendation would be great!
Hello! I don’t use anything too fancy…usually like a Barefoot Red Moscato. It is still pretty sweet like the regular variety. 🙂
