This Apple Pie Martini is a huge upgrade from the standard Appletini that I was once so fond of (until this came into my life). Adding a few extra key ingredients is all it takes to make this dreamy, dessert cocktail.
I am totally OBSESSED with martinis right now…probably because they pack a big punch and taste spectacular if made correctly. Who needs dessert when they can have one of these? You will have to excuse me if I make no sense right now…I just finished this delightful beverage and my martini glass is super-sized!!!
Happy Saturated Saturday everyone!!! My usual martini taste-tester, my mother-in-law, sadly didn’t get to partake today. My substitute taste-tester, happy husband, was more than willing to help out in my time of need. We had a fun-filled day today and really needed one of these! We started off the day running late (as usual) to my daughter’s first haircut appointment. This was WAAAY overdue (my daughter is now 3). Certain things just don’t seem appealing to me and taking her to a zoo hair salon was one of them. However, I was suuuper happy with the place we went to. The most stressful part was actually chasing around my youngest while she tried to climb in the salon chair with my daughter. I guess she wanted her hair done too! LOL…she barely has enough hair for the pebble ponytail I give her. Later in the day, we went to the park and passed by a local fruit stand. I grabbed some delicious apples and from there it was so on…appletini time! The only problem was that both of my daughters wanted to be taste-testers too! My martini almost ended up all over my lap. Seriously though…every apple pie lover should try one immediately! These are quicker, easier (ahhh vodka) and won’t heat up the house. If this drink appeals to you…check out my Key Lime Pie Martini as well!
