This Christmas Sangria is perfect for holiday parties and is so simple to make! Cranberries, green apples and pomegranate take a bath in Pink Moscato with ginger ale and vodka. A sprig of fresh rosemary completes the holiday look for this decadent cocktail.
You can’t go wrong with a good sangria when hosting a party. They are always a hit with the guests and require very little effort. This recipe is perfect for the holiday season with seasonal pomegranate and cranberries. A bit of ginger ale adds more Christmas cheer to this red and green cocktail.
I could seriously, use a few glasses of this right now with the week I’ve been having. The constantly changing weather is taking a toll on all of us. One of my kids was up with the flu all last night and then, I received a call to pick up my kindergartner from school early today due to pink eye. Of course, I get to the school and my daughter is surrounded by sick kids in the nurse’s office. I’m sure more fun is in my future! Sleep is so overrated anyway!
I noticed the other day, that Target carries pomegranate arils in the refrigerator section. Yes please…pomegranates are a huge pain to dissect and the pink juice scares me! I’m way to accident prone to work with such things. I literally, have to fashion a trash bag over my clothes to avoid collateral damage. Apparently, they are worth the risk to your counter-tops and clothing due to all the wonderful health benefits (so there is that).
Now that I’ve completed the last of my holiday shopping online, it is time to turn my attention to more pressing matters. Such as, how many times I can get through watching Home Alone with my kids. I’ll keep you posted on that riveting development. Be sure to check out a few of my other holiday survival tips (a.k.a. cocktails). Cranberry Orange Christmas punch is another favorite with orange sherbet!
