These Cranberry Mimosas with orange liqueur, champagne and cranberry juice are perfect for holiday entertaining. A sugared rim with rosemary and sugared cranberries makes this cocktail colorful and festive.
Mimosas are classically made with orange juice and champagne. However, isn’t it so much funner to mix things up a bit? This version has a cranberry flavor with hints of orange.
I find champagne to be a bit on the bitter side so I prefer to use Sparkling Moscato or Prosecco with my recipes. My champagne glasses usually get filled a little less than halfway with juice.
Feel free to go halfsies if you don’t want your beverage as strong. Throwing in a couple spoonfuls of orange sherbet is highly recommended. You can get the scoop on that here with my Orange Cranberry Mimosa Floats.
Can you believe we are just 2 days out from Christmas morning? My kids couldn’t be more excited and my fingers are crossed that we all stay free of the flu and strep this year. We are definitely breakfast people at my house.
Some of my favorite go-to brunch items are Overnight Apple French Toast Casserole, Candy Cane Breakfast Pastry, and the Best Breakfast Egg Casserole. There is always enough food leftover to brunch on for the next couple of days.
Mimosas are usually synonymous with brunch menus. However, these beauties would go perfectly with your New Year’s appetizer menu selection. A good Spinach and Artichoke dip, Slow Cooker Hot Wings and Tex-Mex Dip are sure to be a hit with all. A Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup is hearty and perfect to fill up your guests.
