This Cranberry Orange Christmas Punch is the perfect, festive cocktail for holiday entertaining. It is so easy to throw together with Prosecco, vodka, cranberry juice, orange juice, cranberries, orange sherbet and fresh mint.
I was inspired by my Orange Cranberry Mimosa Floats when I made this recipe. The creamy, dreamy flavors from the combination of sherbet and bubbly are so satisfying. I made this punch over the weekend and my husband and I kept drinking it from the ladle. I just couldn’t stop…wouldn’t stop! Yikes…beware of the creep’n up effects of dreamy cocktail concoctions.
I LOVE that there is no need to worry about making an ice ring, or loss of flavor from the addition of ice. The flavors are maintained and the punch stays chilled for a long time from the sherbet. Of course, a sugared rim never hurts in these kind of situations.
I really can’t believe that Christmas is this month! What the heck…it was like 70 degrees out today in the Midwest?! Stressful times call for more cocktail and dessert experimentation. I locked myself in the house over the weekend to increase blog productivity and definitely am glad that Monday is over. Is it Friday yet?
