This Fireball Apple Cider Sangria is the perfect fall party cocktail. Fresh apples and cinnamon sticks add to this flavorful cocktail with apple cider, Pinot Grigio, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and a splash of ginger ale.
A good sangria is always in order when I host for Halloween or Thanksgiving. It is more festive than a plain bottle of wine and packed with all the fall flavors. I love that it can be prepared ahead of time to avoid the extra mess. That leaves room for all the fun holiday martini mixers such as a, Melted Witch or Candy Corn Martini. Seriously, the only time candy corn enters my mouth is if it is infused with vodka in martini form (so good).
Sangria can be a sneaky beast! Especially, when you add an extra bit of alcohol such as Fireball. The sweetness from the apple cider mixed with the perfectly paired cinnamon whisky does an excellent job of masking any taste of alcohol. It makes for an extra fun night of trick-or-treating and helps keep you warm. The inevitable cold snap and rain always just seems to show it’s ugly face. A fire-pit in the driveway to hand out candy is always a good idea. We got a reasonable one last year the day before Halloween and it is definitely going to be a new tradition. The combination of s’mores and sangria is my version of an adult treat.
If you’re looking to up your sangria game over the holidays, check out my Caramel Apple and Christmas Sangria. They are equally as satisfying and perfect for entertaining. You can also, always mix up a single serve version of the Fireball Apple Cider Sangria. Just add equal parts apple cider and Pinot with a shot of Fireball and splash of ginger ale. I love filling my glass with apples for days. It takes me back to my early drinking years of alcohol infused fruit.

Hello. The pitcher is 90oz. from Target. Yes, I use the whole bottle of wine.

This looks so good! What a fun fall drink to make for friends !
Thanks so much! It is one of our favorite fall drinks.
I don’t like ginger ale. Could I use sprite instead?
Sure, it will be a bit sweeter. I would use a little less.
What kind of apple cider do you recommend? Fresh pressed , unfiltered . Does it matter?
Hello, I don’t think it really matters. I just buy a gallon from the grocery store when it is in season.
Absolutely love the fall vibes in your Fireball Apple Cider Sangria! 🍁🍏🍷 The blend of fresh apples, cinnamon sticks, and the kick from Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey sounds like a perfect party cocktail. Can’t wait to try this at my next autumn gathering!
Thanks so much, Frank! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Can you list how much of each ingredient just to make one drink?
Hi Caroline,
I have only made this as a pitcher, but I would mix around the following ratios for a single cocktail:
– 1 part wine
– 3/4 part apple cider
– .75 oz. or 1.5 oz. (1/2 or 1 shot) of Fireball – depending on how strong you like it
– splash of ginger ale
– garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick
This sounds amazing, can’t wait to make it! Have you ever tried it with Simply Apple?
No, but I bet it would be good with Simply Apple! Thanks for commenting!
