This Slow Cooker Broccoli Apple Cheddar Soup is so simple and perfect for fall. It is the perfect medley of cheddar cheese, green apples and broccoli with a few simple added ingredients. Do you find yourself wanting to eat cheese fondue with a spoon? Me too!!! Then you will love this soup. I love eating cheese fondue with green apples and broccoli pieces and just knew they would go perfect together in a soup.
Oh my…all this talk about cheese fondue is making me think about chocolate fondue now! Hmmm…the wheels keep on spinning. I think it is time for me to make a nice chocolate fondue for the blog.
Okay, back to the soup here. This soup is so easy to make and I love being able to throw stuff into a Slow Cooker and forget all about it. I made this over the weekend and it was perfect for lunch! Everyone raved about it. I started out just making the standard broccoli cheese soup and it turned into something so much more exciting! Broccoli Cheese soup is my absolute favorite and now I have discovered that it is pretty delectable with green apples too.
One of my favorite things about this soup is that my 3 year old daughter, Ava, actually ate it. We have a winner here!!! The world’s pickiest eater said it was delicious. She is my hardest critic so that made me pretty darn excited.
