These Slow Cooker Hot Wings are so easy and deeeeelicious with the perfect combination of sweet, tangy and spicy! Warning, you will not be able to stop eating these!!! I just love making my wings with St. Louis style sauce, but don’t want the mess of deep frying. The solution is simple, throw them in a crockpot for a melt-in-your-mouth chicken wings. If you like a little extra crispiness, you can always throw them in the oven for a bit before serving.
The inspiration for this recipe comes from a local favorite bar, Syberg’s. It is literally the only place I will actually order wings from. They have the best sauce ever…not too spicy or sweet (perfection).
Okay, so I think that I officially tortured my husband with these today. He got home from work and really wanted to gobble these babies up. However, he had to wait for me to take pictures of them first! After finally having his “sample”, he immediately mentioned that I should make them again along with Spicy Biscuits and Gravy. I think there seems to be a pattern here…spicy, spicy and more spicy is the key to a man’s heart (at least this one’s). We always have buffalo and hot sauce in our fridge. You can dump it on just about anything to add a little spice to your life.
I am really enjoying my time off from work this week! It has finally afforded me the opportunity to clean out my dreaded closet. OMG…it was bad (like an all day project situation)! Does anyone else feel like they can never catch up with their laundry? I seem to do a load just about every day, but somehow we accumulate even more. The neverending story! I wonder how many hours we spend on laundry in our lifetime? Anyway, that is my laundry tangent for today.
If you also enjoy a little spice in your life, then you should also try out our Spicy Biscuits and Gravy with buffalo sauce. Some things are just worth a bit of heartburn!
