I just love drinking my dessert with these Red Velvet Cake Martinis made with red velvet cake mix! There is just so much less cleanup and wait time involved this way…just pure instant, delectable gratification! A touch of cream cheese frosting to the tops of the martini glasses before a good shake and pour is the only work you have to do. The beautiful color of this drink makes these the perfect Valentine’s Day cocktail! …
No need to eat all your trick-or-treaters’ candy this year with this Candy Corn Martini! This is so creamy, dreamy and yumma, yumma, yumma! I made my first infused vodka with candy corn for this recipe and added a hint of butterscotch schnapps, half and half and pineapple juice. I think it is time to make another batch of this candy corn vodka…just in case the craving strikes me tomorrow while I am busy concocting my next cocktail….
Goodbye Better than Sex Cake…HELLO Better than Sex Martini!!! Seriously, this Salted Caramel Chocolate Martini is an absolute dream in a glass. The Godiva Chocolate Liqueur is so creamy and delicious on it’s own, but add Creme de Cocoa and Caramel Vodka to the mix…pure sinful delight.
A Peach Harvest Apple Smoothie is a truly delightful and healthy way to use all those fresh peaches that are at the local markets right now. This recipe is super easy to make and includes juicy fresh peaches, yogurt and applesauce. I can’t stop buying peaches and this is probably the first of several other peach posts!
A Berry Banana Yogurt Smoothie is a delicious and refreshing way to drink your daily fruit intake. It is loaded with bananas, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. You can also give it an extra boost of vitamins and antioxidants by adding a couple of tablespoons of ground flaxseed and fresh parsley. This is a really healthy breakfast for someone who is busy and on-the-go like me. …
This Key Lime Pie Martini is sinfully delightful! If you enjoy the pie as much as I do, then you MUST try this today in honor of Saturated Saturday! Imagine the smooth creaminess and tangy flavor of a pie packed into a perfect, delectable drink (without all the fat).
I am out of control with this one! I had my in-laws over yesterday and began chatting about how excited I was about my next drink recipe. Of course, my mother-in-law was anxious to “sample” this new delight immediately (I guess it was late enough somewhere). I think she really enjoyed being the guinea pig with this one.
I had to try a few different variations of this recipe to get it just right and I absolutely refused to waste alcohol. That is probably why I was so blissfully happy last night. Let me just say, that dealing with a teething one-year-old has never seemed more manageable. Utilize all of that wonderful sweetened condensed milk by making a pitcher of these when you have company over. It is such a great way to drink your dessert.
I am totally fine with not taking a vacation this summer…I just need my Key Lime Pie Martini, a little reggae music playing and I am instantly transformed to a Caribbean cruise (and who wants to worry about becoming shipwrecked and getting some nasty stomach virus anyway). Okay, I am totally convincing myself now. What a money saver!!! Hope you all enjoy and CHEERS to anyone else trapped in the humid Midwest for the summer.
If you like this Key Lime Pie Martini, be sure to check out my Cocktail Page for more boozy inspiration. A Georgia Peach Martini or Moscato Dole Whip are a couple of my favorites. I am off to the kitchen to prepare my next creation, Spinach and Mushroom Quiche. Please stay asleep just a little bit longer baby girl!
