This Vampire’s Kiss Martini will make the perfect addition to your upcoming Halloween parties. Vanilla vodka, Amaretto and pineapple juice make this cocktail sweet and flavorful. The addition of a bloody rim made from corn syrup and chocolate syrup creates a spooky presentation.
Each year, I try to create a new Halloween cocktail and this one has to be up there with my Melted Witch Martini. Both martinis are sweet with colorful and festive rims. A fun prop of vampire’s fangs really adds the finishing touch to this fun cocktail.
The fake blood adds such a fun touch and can also be used to create other Halloween cocktails. I also, used it on top of my Zombie Brain Jello shots. It would also be great for drizzling on dessert trays and for a costume prop. A coarse ground sugar mixed with a bit of red food coloring adds the perfect finishing touch.
If you prefer a stronger martini, feel free to increase the vodka to 3 oz. in place of a shot of pineapple juice. You can also use plain vodka if you don’t have vanilla on hand.
The red, sugar rim is made by mixing a few drops of red food coloring in with coarse ground sugar. Complete the rim by running a lime wedge over the top of the glass before dipping onto a plate with the sugar. You can also, use red sugar sprinkles.
The fake blood is simple to make. You will just need corn syrup, a bit of chocolate sauce and red food coloring. I used the below ratios for the perfect bloody color and texture. Feel free to use a bit more of each ingredient as needed for the desired color.
Drizzle the fake blood over the vampire fangs and down the side of the martini glass for a creepy effect. I pierced martini picks through the teeth, but you can also just place them over the rim of the glass.

Prepare the fake blood by mixing the corn syrup, red food coloring and chocolate syrup in a small bowl. Stir until combined.
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and food coloring; stir until the color is evenly distributed.
Run a lime slice around the rim of the martini glass or dip it into honey.
Dip the glass rim into a plate with the red-colored sugar. Coat until even.
In a martini shaker, add around 1 c. of ice, the vanilla vodka, Amaretto, pineapple juice and Half & Half. Shake until chilled.
Pour into the prepared martini glass. Add vampire fangs (optional).

This Fireball Apple Cider Sangria is the perfect fall party cocktail. Fresh apples and cinnamon sticks add to this flavorful cocktail with apple cider, Pinot Grigio, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and a splash of ginger ale.
A good sangria is always in order when I host for Halloween or Thanksgiving. It is more festive than a plain bottle of wine and packed with all the fall flavors. I love that it can be prepared ahead of time to avoid the extra mess. That leaves room for all the fun holiday martini mixers such as a, Melted Witch or Candy Corn Martini. Seriously, the only time candy corn enters my mouth is if it is infused with vodka in martini form (so good).
Sangria can be a sneaky beast! Especially, when you add an extra bit of alcohol such as Fireball. The sweetness from the apple cider mixed with the perfectly paired cinnamon whisky does an excellent job of masking any taste of alcohol. It makes for an extra fun night of trick-or-treating and helps keep you warm. The inevitable cold snap and rain always just seems to show it’s ugly face. A fire-pit in the driveway to hand out candy is always a good idea. We got a reasonable one last year the day before Halloween and it is definitely going to be a new tradition. The combination of s’mores and sangria is my version of an adult treat.
If you’re looking to up your sangria game over the holidays, check out my Caramel Apple and Christmas Sangria. They are equally as satisfying and perfect for entertaining. You can also, always mix up a single serve version of the Fireball Apple Cider Sangria. Just add equal parts apple cider and Pinot with a shot of Fireball and splash of ginger ale. I love filling my glass with apples for days. It takes me back to my early drinking years of alcohol infused fruit.

A Fuzzy Navel Peach Sangria is a celestial medley of everything that is right in this world. Plenty of fresh peaches get combined with a bottle of white Moscato, orange juice, peach schnapps, and vodka.
If you make a big pitcher of this, it will be quickly eliminated Terminator style. It might have something to do with just how great a fuzzy navel cocktail tastes thrown together with wine and peaches. I’m seriously, drinking a glass (or 3) of this while typing this post. Please forgive me if there are a few more typos (than usual). Luckily, I’ve hired my husband to be my editor. He gets paid via food and cocktails, so we are all winners.
A lot of brainstorming went into this creation (all 5 minutes or so). My original plan was to just make it a peach sangria with a bit of pie flavor. However, something made me think of the magnificence that is a Fuzzy Navel Cocktail. I mean, we’re talking peach schnapps, orange juice and vodka. These are a few of my favorite things, but not when the bee stings. Getting stung in the ankle bone by a bee just sucks. True story…it really happened to me last weekend.
My digressions have led me down a very bumpy road that will be regrettable later. Simply said, this drink is too good. You must mix up a pitcher of it immediately and share with your friends if you’re feeling altruistic.
That being said, I would love to take you through the pain-staking process of making this delightful sangria. Dump a bunch of sliced up peaches into a big old pitcher. Pour a whole bottle of White Moscato into said pitcher. Add orange juice, peach schnapps and vodka. Stir it up and try not to drink it all at once!
Yes, I have a slightly unhealthy obsession for Sangria. It is my number 1 go-to drink for entertaining (myself). If you love this Fuzzy Navel Peach Sangria, check out my Cocktail Page for even more inspiration.
NOT REGRETTABLE
Add sliced peaches to the bottom of a large pitcher.
Pour the Moscato over the top of the peaches.
Add remaining ingredients and lightly stir.
Serve over ice with a fresh mint sprig.
