This Sugar Cookie Martini is perfect for holiday entertaining with Baileys, amaretto and vanilla vodka. A pinch of confectioner’s sugar makes it sweet like a cookie with a dreamy, creamy texture. A rim dipped in icing and sprinkles tops off this festive cocktail.
It wouldn’t be the holiday season for me without a new dessert martini for the archives. I’ll be spending my weekend making sugar cookies with the kids whilst having a couple of these. Sometimes, I think more of the sprinkles and flour end up on the floor than on the cookies!
Vanilla vodka is a must have for those wanting to make a good dessert martini. It adds the perfect extra bit of sweetness and is a staple in countless recipes. Add a Gingerbread or Snowflake Martini to your holiday cocktail menu to use up any “leftovers”.
These martinis are extra festive with a red and green sprinkle rim job. I purchased ready-made vanilla cake icing and gave the glasses a generous dip and turn before really coating them. You may have to even use a butter knife to really spread on that icing on any bare spots.
There is no such thing as too many sprinkles! You can customize your sprinkle colors for any celebration or holiday. I love the idea of doing rainbow sprinkles for birthdays or pink for wedding showers.
These Sugar Cookie Martinis are sure to be a holiday favorite at your next party. Be sure to add Christmas cocktails for a crowd to your menu.
A Christmas Sangria with cranberry and orange or a Cranberry Orange Punch with sherbet are a couple of my favorites. A festive, Candy Cane Crescent Roll Breakfast Pastry is an easy dessert that is sure to impress.

A Butterscotch Hot Buttered Rum will warm you up over the holidays! Prepare the butter dough ahead of time by mixing cinnamon and spice and everything nice before topping with Spiced Rum and Butterscotch Schnapps. A floating of whipped cream and sundae sauce tops off this festive cocktail.
I’m not much of a tea drinker, but will take this Hot Buttered Rum all through the winter along with a Spiked Pumpkin Latte or Baileys Peppermint Hot Chocolate. It warms you up and has the perfect balance of sweetness and spice.
A nice drizzle (or 3) of Butterscotch Sundae Sauce on top of a heavy floating of whipped cream amps up the flavor even further. Cinnamon sticks always make beautiful garnishments in warm, winter cocktails. I love the idea of having one of these with a plate of no bake, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles.
The butter dough is simply made by mixing dark brown sugar with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and a bit of vanilla. I recommend making the dough ahead of time so it is ready to be scooped up when the moment strikes after a hard winter’s day.
Just store it in a covered container and use within a couple of weeks for best results. If the dough is a bit firm, you can stick it in the microwave for a few seconds for easier scooping.
You can mix up your Hot Buttered Rum experience by skipping the Butterscotch. A bit of milk or cream mixed in is also optional, but highly recommended. Butterscotch Schnapps just makes everything taste so good. I love adding a shot or 2 of it to my caramel lattes or White Russians. Its like drinking candy which is always a win in my book.

This Snowflake Martini creates a beautiful, winter wonderland with the flavors of Blue Curacao, pineapple juice and coconut. Serve it with a coconut flaked rim surrounded by a blanket of snow for holiday entertaining or special events.
This post is going to be short and sweet due to all the illnesses going on over here (4 infected eyes, 2 infected ears and a giant MARTIIINIII). This is going to be an unforgettable birthday weekend for sure.
That is probably why all of my blog creations seem to be cocktails lately. Who doesn’t love a good excuse to drink before noon on the weekend?
I have really been craving martinis lately (nothing to do with holiday stress and sick kiddos). Luckily, my fully stocked bar had all of the necessary ingredients to throw this together without having to run to the store.
A good quality vodka (not the plastic jug kind) is always recommended when making a martini. A splash of Blue Curacao creates the most beautiful shade of blue when mixed with a bit of pineapple juice for this winter wonderland effect.
A good rim job is essential when creating a foo foo drink like this one. Have plenty of honey on hand to really dip that glass into before loading with coconut. It may be necessary to really press on some of the coconut by hand to get a good coating.
Did I mention how much I’m loving these glasses I just got? They really work well with the snowy theme going on here.
If you are looking for more great holiday cocktails, I highly recommend my Gingerbread Martini, Christmas Sangria, Caramel Creme Brulee White Russian or Salted Caramel Chocolate Martini. Whoops…this list got a bit longer than anticipated. There are just too many good ones to choose from, so why not make them all?
