This Grinch Sangria with Pinot Grigio, Midori and pineapple juice is a sweet addition to your Christmas menu.  A red sugar sprinkle rim and a small strawberry heart cut-out make this gorgeous cocktail festive for the holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Pinot Grigio
  • 1 1/2 C. Midori Melon Liqueur
  • 1 C. Pineapple Juice
  • 1 splash Sprite
  • 2 pounds Strawberries; hulled and sliced

Garnishments

  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. red sugar sprinkles
  • 1 heart-shaped strawberry

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, add sliced strawberries, Midori, pineapple juice and Pinot Grigio.

  2. Lightly stir ingredients and add a splash of Sprite.

  3. Prepare the punch glasses by lightly dipping the rims in a plate of honey and a plate of red sugar sprinkles until coated.

  4. Garnish with a heart-shaped strawberry.  See tips above for tips on creating easy cut-outs.
