These Skinny Watermelon Margaritas are so refreshing with a shot of Midori Melon Liqueur in the bottom! Fresh watermelon and lime juice are blended with tequila and Agave Nectar for this thirst-quenching skinny cocktail. You can also omit the Midori and still have a delicious Watermelon Margarita with less of a kick.
I just can’t think of a more refreshing cocktail in the summertime than a good frozen Margarita. Hmmm…perhaps a Red, White, and Blue Pina Colada will also hit the spot. However, this vibrant Margarita is lower in calories which is great for swimsuit season. Granted, most of my summer is spent chasing my kids around their kiddy pool in the backyard. I am excited about taking a much needed adults-only vacation to Jamaica in August. This drink is the perfect preparation for relaxation on the beach.
Holy hotness!!! The weather in the Midwest has been painfully hot and humid this week. The only way to get through it is with some good frozen cocktails, a huge umbrella, and a shirt made of ice! The only recipes that I want to make right involve my trusty blender and ice bucket. Too bad my family wouldn’t appreciate a liquid diet.
Father’s Day is looking just as hot, so I plan on making a huge tub of Whiskey Sour Slushes (coming soon) and my Sun-Dried Tomato and Kale Pasta Salad. I pity the person that will be outside at the grill (sorry hubby). These drinks will make everything better!
