A Pancake Shot is to be enjoyed at all hours of the day with Jameson, Butterscotch Schnapps and orange juice as a chaser. A total breakfast of champions situation going on here! Meat lovers can even get a bit of protein in there with a nice piece of crispy bacon on the side.
You can’t have a Pancake Shot without a side of pancakes to go with it, am I right? I was in total pancake heaven last weekend when I started my day with one of these shots and enjoyed a 2nd course of fluffy buttermilk pancakes. I generally don’t make a habit of drinking Jameson first thing in the morning, but “research” is my excuse this time.
I didn’t come up with the idea for this delight on my own. I attended my cousin’s wedding in Minnesota a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t have been more impressed with some of the great restaurants in the city. I just loved all the farm-fresh ingredients and excessive amounts of quinoa and kale available!
One of my favorite restaurants, served all things dessert and breakfast. I’m talking glass cases full of big old chocolate cakes, pancakes, pancakes and more pancakes. Most importantly, they had breakfast cocktails! It just doesn’t get any better than that brunch fans!
- Whiskey Sour Slushes
- Red White and Blue Pina Colada
With Father’s Day upon us, it certainly doesn’t hurt to break out the whiskey cocktails! What guy doesn’t want a Pancake Shot or Whiskey Sour Slush for the big day? In fact, my Dad placed his order for a big ol’ bucket of slush weeks ago! That was literally the only gift idea I was given. Anyway, we will be having plenty of whiskey with some form of BBQ on Sunday. The rest just isn’t as important! Start planning for 4th of July with a refreshing Red White and Blue Pina Colada.
