I love a good Strawberry Lemon White Wine Sangria and this would be perfect for when having company this spring! The infusion of fresh strawberry and lemon flavors with white wine is so refreshing and delicious. There is such an abundance of fresh strawberries and lemons at the supermarket right now and this is the perfect way to use them.

I think my tastebuds have evolved since my last pregnancy. I used to only like the very sweet wines such as a Riesling or Moscato, but for some reason I have been craving more of a Pinot flavor. I have been told repeatedly (mostly by my husband…LOL), that a true wine connoisseur likes the very dry wines. Ha, we aren’t going there right now. If I have a dry wine, it better have some chunks of fruit to sweeten up the party! My go-to-drink is still a good vodka martini. Oh my…it is hard to believe that Easter is next weekend. Yikes…I don’t even have my daughters’ outfits figured out yet! My youngest daughter will be 2 next month and one of her favorite activities seems to be strutting around in my high-heels or her hot pink cowgirl boots. This girl definitely has my taste in shoes!
Wardrobe aside, that means that it is time to start thinking about your Easter menu. I host an elaborate brunch every year and I can’t wait to make some additions to my regular menu favorites…Overnight Baked Apple French Toast and Best Breakfast Egg Casserole are my staples. Everyone loves them and I inevitably get in trouble with someone if I don’t make them. The great thing about these casseroles, is that they can be made the night before to save on time the next morning. That gives me time to make other great favorites such as Spicy Turkey Sausage Biscuits and Gravy and Blueberry Granola Pancakes. The list goes on until enough food is made for several nights of brinner. 🙂
