These Pumpkin Muddy Buddies are a must for your next Halloween party. They are so addictive, easy and fun for the kids to help make! Melted white chocolate chips, canned pumpkin, candy corn and sprinkles make for a festive treat that will disappear in an instant.
Ohhh how I love this sweet combination of gooey goodness and sugar! The original version is so good with chocolate and peanut butter, that I thought I would do some experimentation to come out with something equally enticing with the flavors of fall. This gives you the perfect excuse to whip up some of these buddies for your peeps at work (sorry guys I ate it all), kids (hide some for yourself of course), or your upcoming Halloween bash (lucky you). It also makes good use for that dreaded bag of candy corn your kids made you buy at the grocery store 3 weeks ago.
I love any recipe like this that only requires a quick spin in your microwave! No good flavors are sacrificed and very little effort is needed. Accept, when your daughter has taken the liberty of sprinkling the powdered sugar over large sections of your kitchen floor! Oh well…all part of the kitchen bonding experience.
Let’s talk about candy corn again for a moment. It is so festive and colorful, but is better served in a trashcan than by itself in a bowl. However, a sprinkle of it here or there mixed with other flavors or alcohol (yes alcohol) makes it completely edible. Wondering what the heck I’m talking about with the alcohol comment? We are talking about infusing whipped cream vodka with candy corn for the most awesome tasting orange, Candy Corn Martini ! Grab an extra bag of candy corn and add this cocktail to your Halloween party menu immediately! You will thank me later candy corn haters. These Slow Cooker Hot Wings are so easy and deeeeelicious with the perfect combination of sweet, tangy and spicy! Warning, you will not be able to stop eating these!!! I just love making my wings with St. Louis style sauce, but don’t want the mess of deep frying. The solution is simple, throw them in a crockpot for a melt-in-your-mouth chicken wings. If you like a little extra crispiness, you can always throw them in the oven for a bit before serving. …

This 5 Ingredient White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge is not only delicious, but so fun and EASY to make with your kids! Just throw the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and peppermint extract into a bowl and microwave it!
It doesn’t get much easier than that and the results are pure bliss. This fudge will make the perfect, easy Christmas present for your neighbors and coworkers.
This was the perfect recipe to make with my 4 year old daughter. She loved pouring all the ingredients into the bowl and I loved that the ingredients are low risk for epic messy disasters.
Oh boy…check out the mess we had when I tried to teach her to crack an egg! LOL…she keeps asking me if she can crack an egg again and I continue to avoid it like the plague. Does anyone else remember that goofy kids’ show called “Double Dare”?
Well, I keep having nightmares about my kids sliding on their stomachs through the kitchen floor covered in raw eggs.
Okay, I couldn’t resist looking up an episode. HA…they slide through potatoes and sundae syrup in it (close enough to my nightmare). We also had another incident a couple nights ago. My one year old decided to do a “I Love Lucy” reenactment similar to when Lucy smashes grapes with her feet to make wine.
In my case, my daughter stomped on a bowl of cranberries that she dumped all over the kitchen floor (I had just used them to make my Orange Cranberry Mimosa Floats…SOOO Good.)
Well, I am back to writing my posts after hours tonight to avoid collateral damage! 🙂 Hope you have as much fun as I did making this easy recipe with your kids!

I am in love with these raspberry and orange cheesecake parfaits! They have the desired rich and creamy texture of cheesecake without nearly as much fat due to the addition of yogurt. I enjoy experimenting with different flavors and really like how the orange flavor blends with the raspberries. I was thinking about whether this could be a breakfast item and have concluded…it sure can! Fruit+Yogurt=Partially Healthy breakfast combination (nevermind the matter of delicious cream cheese). …
