Shake up a festive Gingerbread Martini with Hot Damn!, Vanilla Vodka, Baileys and a Ginger Simple Syrup. Garnish it with crushed ginger snaps and plenty of whipped cream for a decadent Christmas cocktail. This is how you drink your dessert!

Feel free to use Gingerbread Man Cookies or Ginger Snaps for a garnishment. The extra bit of cookie adds a welcome ginger flavor to this creamy, dreamy martini. I made a super easy Ginger Simple Syrup with cloves and fresh ginger to get that sought after cookie flavor. Hot Damn! Schnapps adds a Hot Cinnamon flavor for an extra bit of spice.

I really need to get a move on it! I just sent my husband to the store to buy ingredients for Christmas Eve Bread Pudding. Right before he returned, I realized that we also still need to buy ingredients for our favorite Christmas brunch items. A Broccoli Cheddar Breakfast Strata and Overnight Apple French Toast are on the menu with a festive Candy Cane Crescent Roll Pastry. I plan on making everything before bed on Christmas Eve, so I can try and enjoy a somewhat carefree morning.

HA…one can only dream! Hopefully, that Barbie Dream House will be big enough for “sharing”. This skill is just so difficult for these sisters to master. Tiny gladiators seem to come out swinging every time there is a shiny new item. There is just so much fun to be had…standing in line for 2 hours to only have your 2 year old have a complete meltdown when it is finally her turn to sit on Santa’s lap. Well, at least one kid showed up for pictures. I think letters to the North Pole are in order for next year!

Choose festive muffin cup liners to amp up the Christmas cheer factor. I sent my husband to the store to buy said festive muffin liners and ended up with red and green metallic. Which would be fine for entertaining, but not the best for photographing due to wild reflective surfaces! Sending him to the store is definitely rolling the dice, but at least it keeps me out of this nasty cold weather. I sear it was like 60 degrees only a couple of weeks ago! No wonder its a chronic snot factory around here. My daughter seems to use my shirt as a tissue to motor boat at any given time. Usually, when I’m trying to leave the house for work.

Then, you will want to halve your turkey bacon and fry it until just crispy. Put a single layer of it over your bread, wipe out your skillet and sauté the broccoli and garlic mixture. Whisk your eggs and milk together and gently stir in your broccoli and cheddar cheese.

Perhaps you want to save the wine cocktails for your dinner crowd and indulge in a mimosa or 2 with brunch. I’ve got you covered with some great bubbly options on my

Ohhh how I love this sweet combination of gooey goodness and sugar! The original version is so good with chocolate and peanut butter, that I thought I would do some experimentation to come out with something equally enticing with the flavors of fall. This gives you the perfect excuse to whip up some of these buddies for your peeps at work (sorry guys I ate it all), kids (hide some for yourself of course), or your upcoming Halloween bash (lucky you). It also makes good use for that dreaded bag of candy corn your kids made you buy at the grocery store 3 weeks ago.
